About Mr Rajesh (Raj) Kucheria
Mr Raj Kucheria is a consultant urological surgeon with a special interest in kidney stones. He currently works across several hospitals, treating a wide range of urological conditions.
Mr Kucheria works with patients who are dealing with blood in their urine, prostate enlargement, kidney stones, urinary tract infections (UTI), erectile problems and urological cancers. He also sees patients requesting vasectomies.
He has been a consultant since 2012. After completing his urological specialist training within the Imperial College Urology Rotation, he was awarded the Simpson Smith Travelling Fellowship. During this fellowship, he was able to strengthen his skills by visiting centres of excellence abroad to obtain further specialist experience.
Mr Kucheria now teaches at a number of international courses and also frequently attends specialist courses and conferences. He is also the clinical governance representative for BMI Hendon Hospital.

It was my first ever medical referral to a Urologist and I underwent various tests under the care of Mr Kucheria. I could not have been in better hands than Mr Kucheria. I found him to be very kind, highly knowledgable, highly skilled and very experienced in the field of Urology and very aware of all the latest innovations. Mr Kucheria is supported by a very efficient admin/secretary who made sure that my appointments for all tests etc took place seamlessly and with care.

It was a sensitive procedure and Mr Kucheria was very knowledgeable, polite and understanding. Explained the procedure in full and surgery went without issue. His secretary Venessa, was also incredibly helpful sensitive and polite.
