About Platinum Medical Centre
The Platinum Medical Centre is one of the busiest healthcare facilities in the country, seeing over 30,000 patients each year across a wide range of services. These services include Orthopaedic Care, Spinal Care, Digestive Health, Neurosurgery and Oncology, as well as Women's health services such as their renowned Breast Care Unit. They are proud to provide high quality care for all patients.
Platinum Medical Centre is The Wellington Hospital's main outpatient and diagnosis centre, and is one of the largest private outpatient centres in the UK, with 38 consulting rooms, 15 day case rooms and 4 theatres. Through their partnership with Central Health Physiotherapy they can also provide state-of-the-art physiotherapy services in the onsite gym. They offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services, including PET-CT scanning. Most initial consultations with their experienced consultants will take place at the Centre.
The Platinum Medical Centre is just a short walk from Lord’s Cricket Ground, and there is a regular shuttle bus that runs between the centre and Wellington Hospital. So getting there for your appointments couldn’t be easier!

Brief but great visit with Platinum Medical. All staff were lovely and welcoming.

I cannot recommend the Platinum Medical Centre more highly. All the medical and care personnel - the anaesthetist, the nurses etc were good-humoured, reassuring and efficient. I was especially surprised and impressed by the detailed and practical physio advice I received before and after the operation. The physio team took their time to explain short and longer term care at length which was extremely helpful. My room was big, light and airy. The meals too, were excellent. Finally, I was very grateful to receive a call from Marc Road Andal, the Neuro Surgical Nurse Specialist, a few days after my discharge. This was to assess my progress and, very helpfully, to remind me about aspects of self-care and rehabilitation after spinal surgery.

I had a great experience at the Platinum Medical Centre, from the receptionists to the nurses and medical staff, everyone was very professional, gentle manners and very helpful.

Excellent, staff were quick and Nurse Jennifer was quick to take charge and begin the process of removing staples from the wound. Then Surgical Nurse Marco Roed Andal took charge and completed the process. Back is feeling better but still sore and healing, but I now have greater movement in lower back with greatly reduced pain in legs and back.

It’s a lovely clinic and everyone has been very polite and attentive.
