About Mrs Robyn Carter-Wale

Mrs. Robyn Carter-Wale is a highly experienced and dedicated podiatrist. She has spent over 20 years working across London NHS Trusts in community foot health teams, acute hospital settings, and interdisciplinary teams. Her commitment to continuous professional development is evident through her achievements.

She currently holds a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon post with Central London and Community Healthcare NHS Trust but divides her time between a specialist foot surgery team and providing expert podiatry care to patients at a general podiatry practice.

Throughout her career, Mrs Carter-Wale has been involved with over 4500 foot and ankle surgeries including procedures for bunions, toe deformities, tendon, soft tissue and arthritic conditions of the foot and high-risk/diabetic limb salvage. She is also a qualified non-medical independent prescriber, CASE accredited sonographer and has extended scope training in lower limb anaesthesia and injection therapies.

As a result of her training and experience, she has developed a comprehensive skill set that has equipped her with the clinical acumen necessary to deliver excellent patient outcomes with very low complication rates.

Her professional approach is rooted in ethical and compassionate care, understanding the social and economic factors influencing her patients' conditions. She aims to prioritise a holistic, patient-centred approach that addresses both the immediate and long-term needs of those under her care and tailored treatment plans to meet individual needs.

In addition to her clinical work, Mrs Carter-Wale served on the Faculty of Podiatric Surgery Committee (2020-2023). She engages in national-level lecturing, including supporting the teaching at Brunel University for their Foot and Ankle musculoskeletal ultrasound program.  She remains actively involved in research by participating in journal clubs, deanery meetings, and collaborating with the Royal College Faculty of Podiatric Surgery research network of which she is a founding member.

Driven by a passion for learning and innovation, she continues to challenge herself to stay at the forefront of her field, ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of treatment.

I have been attending podiatry under the care of Robyn, since moving to the area a few years ago. My care has always been excellent. I have very problematic left foot issues. She is kind, caring, extremely professional, extremely knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and just such a nice person! I will NEVER go anywhere else! The overall care & experience is 5☆/A+. Thank you Robyn.
