About Mr Patrick Gordon
Mr Gordon is a consultant Urologist and Andrologist (Mens health specialist relating to the penis and genitals) at Leeds NHS trust, based at St James Hospital and honorary senior lecturer at the University of Leeds. This is the only andrology department in Yorkshire where he runs the regional service with two other consultant colleagues, as well as training the next generation of andrologists through their andrology fellowship. As with his NHS practice Mr Gordon offers general urology advice and treatments alongside his Andrology practice.

Qualifications
Mr Gordon started his medical training in London studying at Kings College London gaining his medical degree as well as BSc in Physiology. His houseman jobs took him to the Southwest where he started his general surgical training. His specialist Urology training took him to Yorkshire where he settled as a consultant Urologist in the largest NHS Trust in England, Leeds. He has gained further specialist andrology experience by completing fellowships in both Leeds and at the world-famous Institute of urology at UCL, London. Here he honed his subspeciality interests in male factor infertility, complex genital reconstruction and penile implants under Professor David Ralph. He has also undergone additional training in fertility management of spinal cord injury males at the University of Miami.

Patrick was extremely professional, efficient, friendly and impressive. I had aquablation for an enlarged prostate causing retention of urine in my kidneys at The Yorkshire Clinic on Friday. I spent 2 nights in hospital and will be back golfing this week. It was a pain free procedure with outstanding results! First wee with my catheter taken out was 450ml and also not painful. I would thoroughly recommend Patrick and The Yorkshire Clinic for prostate issues. Happy days as life is back to normal catheter free.

Can’t fault anything from admission to pre and post surgery !! All excellent! Very professional and great staff ! Aquablation Surgery was very stress free and Mr Gordon went through everything very thoroughly and was extremely pleased post surgery !! All went very well and am absolutely thrilled with his care and the procedure! ! Certainly feel it was totally the right decision to seek out mR Gordon and have this procedure done !!!

Mr Gordon, from first meeting was very welcoming and professional, and put myself and my wife at ease. He was personable, explained with great knowledge. He listened to my questions and concerns with great compassion, putting me at ease. Would highly recommend to anyone in his field. Post operation he was there to talk to and explained about my operation. Lovely Guy.

Mr Gordon recently performed a sperm retrieval procedure on my husband as part of our IVF journey, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care we received.
