Mr Omar Hussain

Mr Omar Hussain is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon in NHS/private practice (Parkhill Hospital Doncaster, Claremont Hospital Sheffield, Kinvara Hospital Rotherham).

His special interests include Oral Surgery (Mouth and Teeth surgery), Head and Neck cutaneous lesion, Implants, Trauma, Salivary gland problems and Orthognathic.

He has a strong commitment to teaching, training and recruitment in this specialty.

At present, he is the Specialty lead for the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals. He is also the Clinical Director of Head and Neck Services (OMFS & Orthodontics, ENT, Audiology and Ophthalmology) at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr Hussain is honorary senior lecturer medicine at the University of Sheffield and examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.

He is on the editorial panel of British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Mr Hussain is also a trained as Expert Witness in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
