My appointment was on time and everything was explained to me clearly and precise.

Saw Mr Ayoub in November 2024 about Carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. Originally diagnosed by NHS in January 2024 but told waiting list was at least 2 years and only 1 hand would be operated on. Mr Ayoub was able to access initial test records & diagnosis and scheduled 1st operation (right hand) for December. It was a day case under local anaesthetic. 2nd operation (left hand) was in April but could have been sooner but dates didn’t work for me due to holidays & other commitments. Both operations went well and CTS symptoms have disappeared, almost immediately. Left hand took slightly longer to heal and get back to full use/strength.

Mr Ayoub examined my hands and discussed my Dupuytrens with me with his recommendations. He made me feel relaxed and listened to my description of my hand issues before explaining in some detail how Dupuytrens presents and develops. He was very friendly and professional throughout the appointment.

Dr Ayoub explained to me in ‘my language’ the whole process

Dr Ayoub was a credit to his profession, showing all the qualities needed to put complete trust in his patient. It is difficult to put every positive in these comments , but his calmness and his interaction with his team were so apparent

Really good experience went in expecting to need surgery. Ultimately Khalid identified I may get a better result from rehabbing with physio. This turned out to absolutely correct.

I could not have had a better experience, from my initial consultation right through to my last , I have had absolute confidence in Mr Ayoub, and am absolutely thrilled with my new shoulder. Everything was explained clearly and any questions answered putting my mind at ease, I would highly recommend him.

Dr Ayoub was brilliant couldnt ask for anymore.

My personal details checked, then asked about my issues then examined followed by what my issues could be with what next steps to be taken are. Pleasant, clear and concise.
