About Mr Julian Flynn
As the senior knee surgeon in Milton Keynes , and the only surgeon in the area able to offer all the surgical options for knee arthritis, Mr Julian Flynn has over 23 years of experience as a consultant, and specialises in minimally invasive partial knee replacements, total knee replacements, knee ligament reconstructions, sporting knee injuries and hip arthritis.
Up to 40-50 % of patients with knee arthritis do NOT need a total knee replacement, and can be suitable for a partial replacement, with smaller scars , quicker recovery and improved function over TKR. Patients should ensure that they are seeing someone that can offer all options in managing their symptoms. With some of the best results in the country for outcomes after all types of knee replacements, Mr Flynn currently works at Milton Keynes University Hospital and The BMI Saxon Clinic, seeing patients with all types of lower limb pain, injuries, and arthritis. Very professional and gave me good honest guidance for my on going recovery. Was very happy with the confidence and assurance that he installed upon me from the onset, prior to the operation and post recovery. Good post advise on my recovery Mr Flynn had dealt with some ongoing issues on my Knee many years ago under NHS, draining my knee from a previous trauma. He has also acknowledged me when I had an Achilles tendon rupture in the mid 2014, some years later. Very busy person but always has time to appreciate anyone.
