Miss Clare Morgan

Miss Clare Morgan is an experienced and highly qualified consultant orthopaedic surgeon, specialising in spinal surgery at Spire Cheshire Hospital and Spire Regency Hospital in Macclesfield.

She gained her medical degree in 1994 from King's College Hospital London; during her time there, she achieved a distinction in surgery as well as the Cheyne Edmunds Prize in surgery. Following this, she completed specialist surgical training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, and the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry. She has also completed fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Ireland. In 2004, Miss Morgan completed a BOA Fellowship in Nottingham for spinal surgery, after which she entered the GMC Specialist Register in 2005. Prior to working at Halton NHS Foundation Trust, Warrington, she spent over 8 years consulting patients with spinal conditions at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hospital.

Miss Morgan has a wide range of experience in treating different kinds of spinal conditions. She is an expert in surgery involving the entire spine and is able to offer both surgical and non-surgical management of complex spinal disorders. She is also trained in XLIF and lumbar and cervical arthroplasty procedures.

To provide the best care possible, Miss Morgan works closely with other health professionals when dealing with complex pain disorders and takes a holistic approach to care.
