Dr Plaut is kind, empathic, warm, a superb clinician (and I write as a doctor and educator of over forty years standing who has recently been privileged to be his patient), and he has wonderful interpersonal skills. In times when many doctors are resorting to consulting remotely, by email, or at best by telephone or video, it was an immense honour to meet a doctor who values patient contact and who has retained the skills to examine a patient flawlessly, communicate with sensitivity and conduct the consultation with the utmost professionalism.
