Dr. Joanne Ingleby

Dr Joanne Ingleby is a highly experienced and compassionate dentist who currently practices at Parkfield Dental Practice in Didsbury. She qualified from the University of Leeds in 1989 and went on to complete a postgraduate MSc at the University of Manchester in 1994. Her career has included teaching and research roles at dental schools in Liverpool, Manchester, and Baltimore (USA), reflecting her strong academic background.

Dr Ingleby enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and takes pride in creating a calm and welcoming environment for her patients. She is particularly skilled in cosmetic treatments such as whitening, contouring, veneers, and crowns, having undertaken extensive further training in restorative dentistry. In addition, she has a special interest in root canal therapy.

Over the past 15 years, Dr Ingleby has also developed significant expertise in the treatment of snoring and sleep apnoea. She works closely with national sleep centres and receives direct referrals from ENT, respiratory, and sleep clinic specialists to provide tailored oral appliance therapy.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Ingleby enjoys quality time with her family and their dog, with a shared love for good food and music, though the dog is more enthusiastic about food than the tunes.
