Dr Wei Chuen Liong

Dr Wei Chuen Liong is a Consultant Radiologist currently working at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and at the private hospital The BMI The Chiltern Hospital, in Great Missenden. His special interests are interventional radiology, neuroradiology, cardiac radiology including cardiac MRI and CT angiography and gynaecological imaging and intervention.

Dr Liong graduated from University of Malaysia with a First Class Honours degree and he received University Gold Medals. His training for radiology was at National University of Malaysia and Malaya University. He carried out further training in Interventional Radiology in Nottingham, England. His many years of clinical experience and education make him an expert in his field.

Dr Liong is active in research. His research and teaching interests include novel vascular intervention techniques. Additionally, he trains Oxford Interventional Radiology Fellows and Radiology Registrars utilising his expert knowledge. He has many memberships including Royal College of Radiologists and Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe.
