My thanks to Dr Hoare and his team who very quickly and efficiently arranged a series of investigations for my symptoms. Even though I had chosen not to be sedated during the colonoscopy, Dr Hoare’s experience and skill with the scope meant I felt only minor discomfort, which is much appreciated. Throughout, Dr Hoare had a clear, considerate and reassuring manner, taking a lot of care and time to explain the results, answer questions and follow-up queries.

I had a colonoscopy and gastroscopy yesterday at One Welbeck under Jonathan. To be honest I was terrified but had nothing to worry about. Jonathan the anaesthetist and the team were brilliant at One Welbeck. I was asleep had no pain it was great. I would thoroughly recommend him if you have any issues you are concerned about.

Dr Hoare is very clear, compassionate, astute and communicates on the level. I consulted him in 2013, when he undertook a colonoscopy and I was more than happy to seek his advice again given my recent indisposition. I rate him highly as a clinician. He put me at ease with his easy bedside manner and I was able to open up to him. He diagnosed my condition quickly and successfully treated me within a short period of time. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending his first rate services.

Dr Hoare is an excellent communicator . His has a positive and straight forward approach to explaining what’s going on which in my husbands case when he was the patient Dr Hoare gave him the confidence he needed. I have also been a patient of Dr Hoare and my experience was brilliant , o never doubted for a moment he would identify the problem and fix it - which is what he did without any fuss or fear. I think he is quite brilliant.
