About Dr Chetan Kuloor
Dr. Chetan Kuloor is a very experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with
an extensive experience of working within mental health services in the NHS. He
has been a Consultant Psychiatrist for over 11 years. Dr. Kuloor serves as the Clinical Director for Camden Borough Division and Consultant Psychiatrist for
the South Camden Rehabilitation and Recovery Team at North London NHS
Foundation Trust. Dr. Kuloor has a reputation for being a compassionate
clinician, who places his patients at the heart of shared decision making.
Dr. Kuloor began his post-graduate psychiatric training at the
Guy’s King’s St Thomas’ Psychiatric Training Scheme and trained at renowned
hospitals across the UK. Dr. Kuloor completed his higher specialist psychiatric
training at the prestigious Maudsley Training Scheme. During his training, Dr.
Kuloor has also trained at highly specialized services such as the Bipolar
Disorders clinic at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford, the Neuropsychiatry and
Memory Disorders clinic at St Thomas’ Hospital in London and the Gender Identity
Clinic at Charing Cross Hospital. Dr. Kuloor has won numerous accolades during
his training including second prize at the national undergraduate psychiatry

College London (UCL) Medical School and MRCPsych examinations (CASC) of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He has been actively involved in various roles, including

Regional Specialty Representative for General Adult Psychiatry in the London

Dr Kuloor is an extremely helpful provider, especially as a foreign patient that needed urgent help with acquiring necessary prescriptions. He listens well to everything I’m saying in all respects, mental, emotional, and physical, and carefully explains the prescription options clearly. I always understood what was happening and what I was putting on my body. He responded immediately to any side effects or concerns I had about my medications as well.

I was first seeing Dr Kuloor for depression, after a couple of sessions, Dr Kuloor indicated possible ADHD symptoms, and I was diagnosed with ADHD a few weeks after and started treatment following the diagnosis. It has been a life changing journey for me, it’s not easy to start with because I did not understand Adhd for my first 40 years, but after meds get stabilised, I am almost like a new person with confident and good spirit, yet still being myself. I cannot express how grateful I feel for DR Kuloor. I would highly recommend anyone who needs similar help like me in the future, and happy to share my experience to anyone who needs.

Dr Chetan recommended that I do rTMS following multiple courses of treatment over a few years with no luck. I did the sessions during a difficult time, where I felt very little pleasure in doing things I love and a negative outlook on life with bad anxiety. He explained my options and adjusted treatment based on my circumstances and preferences. During the treatment, we had regular check ups where he took into account my personal life and events that may affect the impact of the treatment. Overall, I felt like rTMS has helped me regain the small pleasures of life and I felt overall more stable, and my treatment plan is still being overseen by Dr Chetan.
