I was reviewed by Mr Bilal Al- Obaidi, Orthopaedic Surgeon, for persistent knee and hip joint pain. I found his assessment to be thorough and highly professional. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns and explained the diagnosis and management options clearly, ensuring that I understood both the medical and surgical aspects of care. From start to finish my whole experience has been nothing short of excellent and then some. Nobody really wants a hefty operation but through the whole process at every consultation and on the day of surgery I have been thoroughly well informed and my mind always put at ease. Any questions have been answered promptly and in detail, alternative options explored and explained, and as a bonus the surgery didn't come close to touching my anticipated pain levels and has given me a whole new lease of life free from pain. I really cant thank Mr Al-Obaidi enough, he is empathetic, personable, and highly approachable, and I feel at all times has kept me informed and educated about my diagnosis and prognosis. Without any hesitation I would unequivocally recommend him to anybody considering or requiring hip replacement surgery.

I have been fortunate enough to get full replacement of both knees within 5 months of each other this year. I was even more fortunate to have Mr Al-Obaidi operate on both knees. Having heard the usual horror stories about the pain and long rehabilitation I can only say my experience was totally the opposite. I was relatively pain free on both and managed to get rid of the crutches within days and return to the swimming pool and gym with 4 weeks of both. I can only thank Mr Al-Obaidi for such a great job on both knees

It was a great experience to meet Mr Al-Obaidi as from the very first consultation I knew that everything was going to go well. Other surgeons could learn alot about his bedside manner and his ability to put you at ease. I had other surgery's where you didn't even meet the surgeon until the operating room. My hip is also amazing.
