I am both incredibly impressed, and hugely grateful to have been working with Bart. I came to him following a meniscus surgery, necessary after an injury sustained during jiu-jitsu, and thinking that I'd never be able to practice or compete at the sport again. I had gone to several experienced physios prior, none of whom had had any direct experience with jiu-jitsu athletes, and in working with them, I found myself in an ongoing cycle of improvement then re-injury. So when Bart mentioned that he was a jiu-jitsu practitioner himself, it gave me a huge amount of confidence that he understood the stresses and pressures that the sport puts on the body. From day one, Bart was knowledgeable, thorough and understanding - he took the time to explain why we were doing the battery of tests, what they revealed, and how he would use their results to a rehab program tailored specifically for me, based on my goals and timelines to return to the sport. Bart was passionate about the process, and I was particularly impressed with his responsiveness throughout - taking the time to adapt my program based on my recovery and explain to me the reasons why. Based on Bart's care and programming, I've seen amazing, rapid results, and am now back on the mats doing the sport I love - I can't recommend him enough.
