About Dr Allan Matthews
The most crucial aspect of my work is ensuring that you, as my client, are fully informed about the options available to achieve a healthy, functional, and beautiful smile that lasts. My aim is to enhance your understanding, making it easier for you to make decisions. This empowers you and facilitates our ability to reach your desired results.
I have a special interest in managing jaw and muscle pain, as well as diagnosing and restoring cracked or worn teeth. I utilize minimally invasive techniques to move and rebuild tooth structure, carefully managing forces to ensure the longevity of our work.
With a solid foundation in further education that complements my general practice, I strive to provide you with a high level of care. I’m proud to have been a finalist for “Best Young Dentist” in Scotland in 2020, a recognition supported by the wonderful testimonials I’ve received from my clients.

Previously dental visits were to be avoided, the whole experience would be abrupt painful and frustrating leaving me with an unimpressive Amalgam look Allan has totally changed my outlook on dental visits making it such a calm and positive experience. My smile is now happy, infectious and confident , straight white teeth are fabulous thanks Allan I love them

Alan took time to explain and show me the issues he saw in my mouth. He encouraged me to consider some new techniques which would enhance and improve the look of my smile. He gave me a website to look at for further information. I am still considering the options.
