Dr. Aleksandra Herrera-Sokołowska

Dr. Aleksandra Herrera-Sokołowska is a highly experienced neurologist who graduated from the Medical University of Wroclaw in 2009 and completed her specialist training in neurology in 2016. She has also passed the prestigious European Board of Neurology exam and gained international experience through a scholarship at St. George’s Hospital in London, focusing on stroke care.

In 2015, she further broadened her expertise with an internship at the Sleep Disorder Clinic of the Neurology and Neurosurgery Institute in Mexico.

Dr. Herrera-Sokołowska currently works at the neurology ward of the Regional Specialist Hospital in Wroclaw, where she consults patients both in the hospital setting and in private outpatient clinics. Dedicated to continuous professional development, she regularly attends courses in neurology and related fields, and she is currently working towards obtaining an EEG license from the Polish Society of Clinical Neurophysiology.

Her professional affiliations include membership in the Polish Society of Neurology, the Polish Society of Sleep Research, the European Academy of Neurology, and the International Movement Disorders Society. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as a clinical lead contributing to the creation of eBrain, an educational platform within neurology.

She combines her up-to-date medical knowledge with a compassionate approach,
ensuring her patients feel supported and understood at every stage of care.

Her scope of expertise includes diagnosing and treating a wide range of nervous system diseases, with particular interests in extrapyramidal system disorders, epilepsy, sleep disorders, and cerebrovascular diseases.
