Ms Razan Shwayhat

Razan Shwayhat studied Nutrition and Food Processing at the University of Jordan, Licensed by MoH Jordan and DHA Dubai and HAAD Abu Dhabi. Currently practices at NLV Medical Center in Dubai, Razan helps people on daily basis by creating tailored nutrition program not only to reach optimum weight but also to modify their eating habits and lifestyle so that healthy eating become a daily routine and not just a temporary diet program. Also as certified Food Addiction Counsellor she continue to help all kinds of eating disorders.

Member of the Board of Trustees at the Royal Health Awareness Society - a Jordanian non-profit organization established under direction of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdallah.

An Active influencer in many media chanel, Razan increase awareness through TV shows for 6 years at Roya TV, performing healthy cooking, nutrition education and a weight loss competition – Ghizaak sihtak. And also a regular guest in many TV channels such as CNNArabic, MBC, Al Arabia, Dubai TV, Sama Dubai and Abu Dhabi TV. Not to underestimate the radio listeners Razan has program at Mazaj radio station – Calories. Razan is keen to keep engaging with people directly through social media, therefore she created her own space at different social media tools, from Instagram, facebook page, Twitter and YouTube Channel.

Razan published her first book in 2015 titled " Ghizaak Sihtak " غذاؤك صحتك i.e your food is your health. The 300-pages book aim to help people understand and apply healthy cooking and healthy eating habits with more than 100 recipes with calorie and nutrient analysis for each recipe.

Ambassador for many healthy brands such as Nestle and Inbody Body Composition, Razan performs educational, awareness and intervention nutrition workshops for professionals and the public.

Through her work with many chefs and restaurants she was able to twist recipes to a lower calories and healthier option and also to analyse the Nutrition content in terms of calories and %daily value as per the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Standards.

Razan as well believes that nutrition should start at early ages; therefore, she performs Puppet shows at schools and nursery to send a simple message in a friendly way for children about the importance of healthy eating habits.

Nutrition is our life, research and education in this field never stops, membership with one of the most important organization "the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics" help Razan to stay up date with the latest research and tools used to support healthy eating.
